How do I complete my profile?

Go to your Dashboard and click "Edit Profile." Fill in your sport, school, graduation year, GPA, experience, and upload a profile photo. The more complete your profile, the more likely employers are to reach out.

How does the approval process work?

After signing up, the Optimi team reviews your profile within 1–2 business days to verify your NCAA status. You'll receive an email once you're approved and your profile is visible to employers.

How do employers contact me?

Employers browse the Candidate Directory and send you a message request with an intro note. You'll see pending requests under Messages → Requests. You can approve or deny each one.

Can I message employers first?

No — messaging is employer-initiated only. Employers send you a request, you approve it, and then the conversation opens. This keeps your inbox clean and ensures every message is from a verified employer.

How do I approve or deny a message request?

Go to Messages → Requests tab. You'll see the employer's name, company, and their intro note. Click "Approve" to open the conversation or "Deny" to decline.

How do I find and apply to jobs?

Go to Opportunities in the sidebar to browse all active job postings. You can filter by industry, role type, and work arrangement. Click any posting to see the full description and application link.

How do I save a job posting?

On any job listing, click the bookmark icon to save it. Find all your saved jobs under the "Saved" tab in the sidebar.

How does Resume Review work?

Go to Resources → Resume Review and upload your resume as a PDF. Our AI will score it out of 10 and provide specific, actionable feedback within seconds.

How do I download cover letter templates?

Go to Resources → Cover Letter Templates and click "Download" on any template. The PDF will be pre-filled with your name.

I haven't received my confirmation email — what do I do?
